Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) Delegation Visit
The largest trade and investment delegation ever to visit Cincinnati, arrived May 26th for two days of meetings. Led by Assistant Minister of Commerce, Mr. Wang Chao, the prestigious group of around 100 business and government leaders came for investment and trade opportunities. The firms included many of China’s largest automotive manufacturers, including Beijing Automobile Works, SAIC, Cherry and Brilliance China Automotive and leading firms in the energy, machinery, electronic, food, and agriculture industry sectors.
The purpose of the event was to promote business collaboration between China and US, make connections between Chinese companies and US companies to explore potential business opportunities, understand US business environment and seek opportunities for investing and partnership, and to have an opportunity for Cincinnati USA and Ohio to promote what we have to offer, the strength of our companies, members, and the people.
